Mountain Blizzard taking off January 15-17, 2009!
Join us in snow-covered Flagstaff for a tremendous new opportunity for all band students who are in good standing within their bands. High school and community college students from Arizona and Nevada are encouraged to be a part of this inaugural honor band experience. Part of the Mountain Blizzard experience includes two master classes with the NAU applied faculty members, coaching students on the All-Region excerpts for the auditions that will take place state-wide one week after the Mountain Blizzard. Chair placement for the Blizzard Bands will be by audition. Material for the audition will be the All-Region excerpts.
Students are encouraged to apply for Mountain Blizzard by completing the registration form. You must be a member of your band program in good standing, and your director must sign your application for final acceptance into this opportunity.
